I enjoy giving back to the game that developed me into who I am today. I graduated from Cannon Falls High School as a three-sport athlete and went on to play baseball at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. I served as team captain for two years and earned three years of all-conference honors, scholar athlete and academic awards, the conference sportsmanship award, and the NCCAA Hank Burbridge Award. I now play for the Cannon Falls Bears of the Minnesota Baseball Association. ? Since 2017, I have organized and coached youth baseball leagues for Cannon Falls and Randolph, as well as led many youth baseball camps. Two of my biggest passions are athletics and working with kids and I am blessed to do both on a daily basis. I teach third grade at Randolph Public Schools and coach football, baseball, and help train athletes in the weight room. ? I look forward to helping athletes reach their potential and make a positive impact.

Coach Heise proudly served as a Senior High History and Literature teacher at Lake City Lincoln High School for thirty-one years. During this time, I also dedicated myself to coaching, spending thirty years as an assistant varsity football coach and twenty-three years as an assistant varsity baseball coach. My baseball coaching experience includes serving as head coach for the Freshmen, B-Squad, and Junior Varsity teams, as well as assisting the Varsity team during tournaments and sectional play. From 2017 to 2019, I contributed to the success of the Lake City Legion team and was head coach for my son's Little League teams from 2011 to 2017, competing in both the Zumbro Valley and Metro Leagues. As a coach, my responsibilities were comprehensive. For the Lake City Baseball program, I specialized as the outfield coach but, as the head JV coach, I managed all aspects of practice, covering pitching, infield, and outfield defense. Additionally, I worked extensively with hitters, incorporating various hitting drills and stations to maximize player development. I retired from coaching in 2022 but remain passionate about the game. I am eager to return to coaching, particularly in roles focused on developing specific skills to help young players grow into stronger, more confident baseball players. Coaching has always been a source of joy and fulfillment for me, and I hope to continue giving back to a sport that has enriched my life in countless ways.
